As a menopause awareness consultant, Kathryn helps women understand peri-menopause through to the Menopause itself.  She helps them recognise the change they’re going through, and helps them to get their life back on course.  She also works with husbands and partners so they better understand the menopause, and has had expert appearances on Sky TV.

Kathryn says, "I’m very woman-focused, and this reaches into the emotional state of those true feelings that you can't discuss with friends or family; how this affects relationships and the working environment; how to manage debilitating symptoms; how to understand the long-term issues of hormonal health.  Chatting about why knowing your body better at, say, 40 and experiencing PMS could help you be in control of your own health moving forward.  I also provide advice in the workplace to employers and line managers, heads of departments, etc., on the importance of understanding hormonal health and how this can be challenging for women in the workplace.  Let's get the men involved - they really do want to help!  All in all, this provides an individual holistic view of hormonal health and also covers the wider picture of challenges in the workplace.  I can help you start your own personal action plan.

"I’ve worked as an independent menopause expert for the last four years.  Experiencing my own health challenges for a decade leading up to the menopause, and then carrying out research into hormonal health in women, I decided to set up my own website.  It covers every aspect of this vast subject as I felt the medical profession just weren’t joining up the dots.

"Since then, I’ve presented to medical professionals, women's groups, individuals and business owners, all of whom want to understand more about the emotional aspects involved with the menopause.

"As a leading non-medical authority in my field, my work is recognised by medical practitioners as well as journalists in the press and on radio and TV.  I write and speak regularly on hormonal health and menopause, and do regular spots on various radio programmes.  I’ve also appeared on Sky's Secret Guide to Women's Health, focusing on sexual dysfunction.

"I offer a very woman-focused consultation based on my own and others’ experiences, as well as from the male perspective. I'm available for evening appointments by request.  I speak to a number of men who are worried about their wife or partner and want to understand more about the menopause.  Please don't feel isolated - get in touch with me.

"My work is now taking me into the field of providing solutions in the workplace. There is a growing realisation that hormonal health issues affecting women working through menopause are not being addressed."
